Oral-B Stages MommyParty!

I’m a big advocate for excellent dental hygiene and I try to instill that in my kids too. So I was pretty psyched when I found out I was picked to host an Oral-B Stages MommyParty.  My kit arrived pretty quickly and it contained 5 Oral-B Stage 1 Brushes, 6 Stage 2 Brushes, 11 Toothpastes, 11 bottles of Disney Baby Body Wash, the new Winnie the Pooh movie with invites and recipe ideas, balloons, popcorn and little gift bags. Pretty nice party spread, huh?

Even though invites came in the bag, I decided to do my own since I was going to give it a Holiday feel as well. Since we are already decorated for Christmas, it just seemed like a doable theme. Plus, with the excessive amounts of sweets around this time of year, this is the prime time to give our kids some oral hygiene tips.

What better way to prove that point than to have the kids ice and decorate their own sugar cookies? Then follow that with flash cards, some popcorn, trail mix, juice boxes and a viewing of the Winnie the Pooh movie.

The sugar cookies were a big hit and the kids gathered around the tv to watch Winnie the Pooh. They laughed and had a great time giving it a thumbs up at the end.  After that, we handed out the goodie bags, let them choose a toothbrush from the Christmas tree and explained how important it is to brush, especially after eating sweet cookies and getting popcorn in our teeth. Overall, I’d say it was a hit.

I think Oral-B does a great job of enticing kids to brush with their line of Winnie the Pooh, Cars and Toy Story products. The size of the brush is perfect for little hands with a little bit of texture to help them hold on. My son loves his new brush and can’t wait to move up to the Cars one.
