If you’ve watched Shameless, then you know that the Patriarch of the family, Frank Gallagher, tends to spend every penny he can muster at the bar. But if I could give his daughter that money, what would I tell her to do with it? Well, it would be easy to tell her to take a vacation and relax, but as we saw all through the first season, without her the kids wouldn’t have any sort of parental guidance. So I’d have to tell her to save as much as she can while managing to pay the bills and put food on the table. Her life is rough, but so is that of her siblings. Maybe she could use the cash to legally emancipate all the kids from the worthless father.
Don’t forget that Season 2 premieres on Sun, Jan 8 at 9PM ET on Showtime. And you can still catch up with Season 1 on DVD or Blu-Ray.
